What we woke up to Monday morning!!

Ok, so what do I do when there is no school and no way to get out of the house? Crafts, of course! This past Monday, we had a freak snowstorm, so of course they canceled school. So I called my bestie and she braved the winter wonderland to head over for a day of crafts. Since I am having holiday with drawls from taking down my Christmas decor, I decided to get a head start on Valentine's day crafts. Now, LeighAnn is not afraid to admit, she is not a crafty person, so I was determined to change that!

I wanted to adopt a cute and easy Valentine's Day craft from one of my favorite bloggers: Jenn from Tatortots and Jello. Here are the supplies LeighAnn started with:

1. Cheap picture frame (8x10 size)

2. Valentine scrapbook paper

3. glass marbles

4. 3-D glittery hearts

Love glue dots!

We decided to keep the matting in the frame, so I had LeighAnn put some glue dots on the backing and then secure the pretty Valentine's scrap book paper on it.

 It turned out like this! Looking great already

 Then she started playing around with some marble placing

 Final step was to glue down the marbles and heart.

 Then...ta-da!! I am pretty proud of how her first craft with me turned out!

So, after a fun day of food, fellowship, and crafts...we found out that even LeighAnn has a crafty side. Haha! I love this girly so much and I am so glad we got to spend the day together =).
